Stories of Jungleers: Recollections from the men who did their duty.
The following recollections allow the reader to experience stories from just a few of the Jungleers who fought in the Southwest Pacific Theater in the years 1942-1945.
They have been placed here for easy access. They may also appear as part of the history of the specific unit in which that Jungleer served.
Most were recorded in 2001 at the 163rd Infantry reunion in Helena, Montana and the 41st Infantry Division reunion in Portland, Oregon.
More will be added as they are told.
The time granted by these men in the telling of their story is most greatly appreciated. Many, many thanks.
